Scenes from Sailing the Nile by Ellen LeBlanc.
We spent several days in Luxor prior to sailing.
The Neferu-Ra was docked in
LaGalta, a small village just south of the city, where these pictures
were painted.
We boarded the Neferu-Ra at Esna after visiting the temple.
The shed
was located just to the south of town.
After visiting Edfu we sailed to Gebel Silsila, where we spent a magical
night ... just us, the chapel, the Nile and the stars.
In the morning we continued sailing south, to Kom Ombo.
The Neferu-Ra arrived at Aswan, the terminus of our voyage.
We had spent four days sailing the Nile and it passed much too quickly.
